So, this morning at about 7:30 am our carbon monoxide detector started going off!! Mattea and I were sound asleep. Needless to say, it was about the worst way to wake up!!
I had no idea what to do!! John had just left to work, so I called him to see what the heck I needed to do. I opened the door to air the house out and took Mattea out to the car! It wouldn't stop going off, so I called the fire department! Yes, i'm that person!!! At first, just a fire SUV pulled up, so I thought it wouldn't be too big of a deal!!......BUT THEN.... a huge engine showed up!! I was a little embarassed!! They said it was probably from the fireplace. So, we can't have a fire until John can clean the chimey......
I guess I totally over reacted....but I had no idea what to do!!!!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure I would've done the exact same thing!!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad somebody else just went through the exact same thing and I read about it on her blog. She called the fire department too. ;)
