Turning a new leaf.....

It has been exactly one year and two months since my last post......so to say the least.....I have not been good at all at this blogging thing. But I am making a commitment to start back up. More as a keepsake for our family, and a way for our family far away to know what's up!! A lot has happened in the last year. I got knocked up, had a baby, and now we are buying a new house. That pretty much sums it up quickly! I promise to update more. Since it's been a while, here is an updated family picture......Including Cecelia Marie! Lot's of love!! Kara!

SUMMER IS HERE!!!!

Yay!!! It is the begining of summer!! Which means SWIMMING!! We went to the pool for the first time of the season!! Mattea had so much fun!! She is absolutely not scared of the water at all! She is going to be just like Mommy and be a fish in the water!!! We are taking Mommy and Me swimming lessons this summer too!! I can't wait! I love summer!

The Love of A Daughter for her Daddy!!

Daddy was out mowing the lawn today and Mattea stood at the window the entire time yelling "HI DADDY!!!" everytime he came around. So, we went out and she got to ride with daddy for a minute! This girl LOVES her daddy! She can't waitDaddy to hug him when he gets home. He gets a million kisses as well! It is so awesome to see how much she loves him! Of course she already has him wrapped around her little finger. Especially now that she actually says Daddy! Driving in the car, she likes to play a game where she yells Daddy at the top of her lungs! She says daddy, he says "What??" And she just yells louder!!!! It's so sweet! I love our princess so much! She gets cuter and sweeter every day!!! We are so lucky!!!!!!

Well, it's Thursday!! And since I vowed to post more often, I will begin with more Thankful Thursdays!!!

Today I am thankful for President Obama passing the new first time home buyers tax rebate! We close on our house tomorrow and I am going to LOVE that big ole rebate!! So.....that is my Thankful Thursday!!! Short and sweet!! LOVES!!

It's been a while!!!

So, it has been FOREVER since I updated this thing!! It's a bit of an adjustment going from not working at all to working all the time!!! I love my job so much! It is amazing!! I didn't think I would be dancing again...I just figured that part of my life was done. But I love it! I love our schedule. It is the perfect job for me! I get to do what I love and still have plenty of time for my princess!!!

Anyway, things have been great in the Worthy house! We closed on our house!! We are pretty excited for the tax rebate we will be getting any day now!!

Mattea is getting so big already! We have been working on potty training and she has been doing so good!! She pooped on the potty the other day (which I'm sure you wanted to know!) But, I told her since she made such a big step, I would buy her Dora panties...BTW...she is OBSESSED with Dora! All day, every day, all she wants to do is watch Dora! But, atleast it is teaching her!! Here are some panty pictures!!

The Time is NOW!!

Well, it's time! I start workin tomorrow!! I can't believe it is already here! For those who don't know. I'm going to be dancing at the Shoji Tabuchi Show!!! I am so ready! I'll have to admit, I'm a little anxious seeing as I haven't worked at all since Mattea was born, AND haven't danced in about two years! BUT! I've been workin my booty off to get back into shape and I am so ready!

I was in the show in 2001 and it was the BEST experiene I have had as a professional dancer! I am so thankful that I am still able to be a part of the show! I really though that after I had Mattea, I was done dancing. My body wasn't going to be the same, and the time would be too much! But, I sure got the bug again. So, just to see if I could, I went to auditions! I felt really good about it, but man was I winded after my two solos!! I wanted it BAD, but I wasn't getting my hopes up. I knew that time has done it's work on me!! But, I was sooooo excited when they called a couple of days later offering me the job!!

I have worked my butt of these last few weeks to get myself back into fighting shape. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm close! I'm sure I'm goin to lose quite a bit more during rehearsals!!

I am so ready for the challenges that are ahead! It is going to be the best! Plus, I can't wait to Taiko!!!!!!

Thankful Thursday

Okay, so I'm going to steal this one from Jami. I think it is a great idea to remind ourselves of all we have to be thankful for......especially in these uncertain times. So, here goes!!!!!!

I am thankful for my husband! He is the best friend and father anyone could ask for! He puts up with me and all my craziness!!

I am thankful for my daughter! She has changed my life in so many ways. Watching her grow is the most amazing and rewarding experience!!

My last one for today is
I am thankful for my talents and abilities. I am going to be starting my new job on Monday dancing in a show. I am so glad that I am going to be able to put my love for dance to good use again!!! All the hours and hard work I put into training all those years have paid off!! I get to do what I love to do every day and get paid for it!! That in turn, is helping our family become more secure financially!

Now that was fun! We all need to remember to be Thankful!
